Meet Lynda's Girls

Meet Lynda's Girls.

Cathy Rumball Team Leader.

My Name is Cathy and I am the big 50 this year ekkk.. I have a wonderful husband called Martin and we live with 3 chickens , a dog called Baker and a Man Coon cat called Dexter. I am a staff nurse in charge of a out patients department in a small community hospital here in mid Wales. I only work part time due to a number of health issues and it is because of this I got into crafting. I was sat poorly at home watching QVC and they had a card kit on and I thought I could do that.. That was 9 years ago!!! Crafting has helped me through so many dark days and I have met  many wonderful crafty people over the years... many who I call friends.  I love making samples for Lynda Chapman as the products are always such a high standard and a joy to work with  and I still get a buzz seeing my creations on Create and Craft TV.

My name is Sam, I am 45 years young. I am married to my wonderful husband Leigh and on June 25th we are celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary. I have 2 sons aged 24 and 20 and a grandson aged 2, and also 2 furry babies west highland white terrier called Jock and Chalkie.
I am currently working at EE full time, and enjoying life.
I love being on the design team as we are all like family and the Creative crafting world products are amazing.

Hi, my name is Nikki. I live in Bonnie Scotland with my rescue springer, Daisy and Mylo, my bearded dragon.
I am mum to a wonderful son Kris, who luckily shares my passion for crafting.
I am often found creating and playing in my crafty studio which has a wonderful view of the Pentland Hills. So inspiring.

I love all forms of crafting but paper crafting is where my heart is.

Hi Im Hazel, a 40 something Mum of 2 boys. We live on the East Coast of Scotland.  I also live with Belle my best friend and mad Jack Russell and Jess the very old lady kitty who rules the roost!! I don't work due to ill health but before I became ill I was a Midwife working in London and Dundee.  I have always created and been crafty. I remember making Christmas cards for my Grannies when I was wee with lots of glitter. Some things never change.  I seriously caught the crafting bug when I became ill and was indoors all the time with my agoraphobia. Sitting watching crafty TV shows helped take my mind off my anxiety.   I'm delighted to be part of the Creative Crafting World Design Team and love the products. I do have a wee addiction to Lynda's black card and use it whenever I can.  Happy Crafting xx

Hello My name is Jayne,
I'm all about memories & what they evoke.
In 2016 I reached my 60th birthday; a mile stone you might say, I like to think of it as becoming more wise.
My significant other half is David. We have been together since our mid teens & have 2 adult children who are now creating their own memories.
I first met Lynda, when I introduced her to Kevin Wood. I know Kevin  through both of us  exhibiting at local craft fairs & said to him one day that I'd love to use his artwork & knew others would to.  (I laugh even now, when I think of Lynda's reaction to one of my corsets).
The best way to describe how I craft is that I open my mind to the possibilities of what you can do with card & digital crafting has given me an even wider range to work with.
It's a real pleasure to be one of Lynda's girls 💗 & I'm loving every minute.

Hello my name is Sharon, I live in Fife in Bonnie Scotland, I am 42 years young & I am married to Kevin. We have no children but I enjoy being an auntie and I am owned by a Blue Merle Border collie called Anya.
I have stopped working now due to ill health. Crafting keeps me sane and I am very blessed to have been on Lynda's Team for a number of years. Right now I am taking a break from sample making and am helping Lynda with her social media marketing. I love being part of the team as all the girls are the nicest of people and we have all become great friends.

Hello Everyone, My name is Lisa I am happily married with three children (two girls and one boy) and not forgetting my baby girl Maxy (Tri-border collie).
I have been crafting in some form since leaving school, firstly training as a florist but now my husband and I run our own ecommerce hosting company.
I love card making, book folding and making Atc's in my spare time. I try to get the kids to join in and they do sometimes :)
I was totally on cloud nine when Lynda asked me to join the design team. I just love Creative Crafting World cd's and dvd roms. Printing off any design at anytime is fantastic.
Of course I love to see what everyone makes as we all have different ideas

Hello my name is Eunice
I am an avid crafter and have been since I was old enough to play with glue and scissors. I have been married to Paul for 41 years and we live in West Sussex. has had to put up with material, paper, card and all manner of crafting things taking over the house. In the loft under the bed wherever there is a space I haven’t already filled. I now have my own “Studio” as I couldn’t find any more space. Paul agreed to have the garage converted into a lovely room, three quarters of it is mine and the other quarter which is separated by a wall is Paul’s workshop but he got to keep the freezer and tumble dryer in his end.
I was always a Blue Peter fan saving all the toilet roll holders and empty washing up liquid bottles, paper and paste everywhere including lots over me. My present love of Handicrafts developed from my last days at school when I learnt dressmaking and furnishing. I kept these activities up until I started cruising where upon I then started to make all my own evening dresses. I also used to go to the handicraft classes and always thought when I retire I could do this. This led to me going to classes at various places near where I live and finally becoming a teacher/lecturer. On my retirement I applied to teach/lecture on board, and was accepted after a very short time and we enjoyed 14 wonderful years until my knees put paid to the teaching but we still cruise for our holidays.

I used to do some teaching at local Crafts shops but found I was missing out on being available for cruising so I gave that up. I still do a few classes at home for a couple of ladies who like to learn new things and then teach them to others at their church. For several years I wrote articles for “Practical Crafts and Cards” that magazine is no longer published so I now occasionally write for “Making Cards” I have hit the front page more than once, something I am very proud of.

I also consider myself very lucky and honoured to be included as one of Lynda’s Girls and love making samples with the wonderful DVD’s,  papers and all the other lovely things she always finds.
